This policy describes how the Vamos a Votar coalition collects, uses and shares information from visitors to this website. The coalition is a joint program of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), UnidosUS Action Fund, Mi Familia Vota and Latino Victory, referred to together as “the partners.”
1. Information we collect
Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code and state, the ways you want to volunteer, and any other detail you enter into a form on this site. Information collected automatically: the pages you visit, the language you select, your approximate location from your IP address, and your browser and device type.
2. How we share it
All information collected on this site is shared with all four partners. Each partner may contact you directly and may keep your information in its own systems under its own privacy policy. We also share information with the service providers that host this site, store data and send email, text and phone messages on our behalf. We do not sell your information and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
3. How we use it
To help you register, check your registration and make a plan to vote; to match you with volunteer opportunities; to send election reminders, deadlines and coalition updates; to measure how the site is used; and to comply with the law.
4. Your choices
Reply STOP to any text or use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop messages from that partner. To ask what information the partners hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email privacy@vamosavotar.org and we will coordinate the request across all four partners.
5. Voter registration and state lookups
Links to register or check your registration take you to your state’s official election website or to vote.gov. Those sites are run by state governments and have their own privacy policies. We do not receive the information you enter there.
6. Children
This site is intended for people 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
7. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
